ABOUT

Michelle Dorn is the founder of Evergreen Speech Services in Boise, ID. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of children with speech sound disorders and language delays. She believes in a holistic approach to therapy and is passionate about using techniques that incorporate both sensory and motor integration.

After nearly 2 decades of working in school, clinic and hospital settings, Michelle has treated a wide range of students in ages and abilities. Each child has impacted her as a therapist and has shaped her into the clinician she is today. After many years of working in a setting where burn-out is common, she can still say she loves her profession and continues to have a desire to grow.

Michelle’s desire to work with children and families in the community deepened when she found herself as a parent of a child in therapy. She understands on a deeper level how important the connection between a child and therapist can be for not just the child, but the family as well. She seeks to support her clients in their speech and language goals while honoring their individuality and developmental needs as a whole child.
