SERVICES
Assessment
A comprehensive evaluation is required before initiating services. An evaluation assesses receptive and expressive language, speech sound production, and oral motor skills. Following the evaluation, a report will be presented detailing the findings, recommendations, and treatment plan if therapy is recommended.
In-Person
In-person services are provided either in the home or school setting (with permission from the school). Sessions are 50 minutes and are individualized to the unique needs of the child.
Teletherapy
Teletherapy is provided for children who are able to participate in an online format. Research shows that speech teletherapy, or telepractice, as the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) recognizes it, is shown to be effective. ASHA endorses telepractice as a means of service delivery and states the use of telepractice should be of equal quality to services provided in person and consistent with adherence to ASHA’s Code of Ethics (ASHA, 2023).
INSURANCE
Evergreen Speech Services is an out-of-network provider. Our services may be reimbursed by out-of-network benefits, however, it is the responsibility of the client to determine if your particular plan will reimburse you. We can provide an itemized bill that includes necessary information for insurance, including diagnostic treatment and codes.
